Killing Lennie for George was very tough for him. Especially because of the long amount of time they spent together. This was a tough decision for George but, in my opinion I liked and disliked his decision. I disliked it because of the fact that Lennie got close to the reader and most of the readers favorite character was him. It was also a bad decision because they were so close and had such a good relationship. Yes, they did argue once in a while with George always being right because he was much smarter and could just trick Lennie saying he was right. But other then things things like that they were very close. Lennie would always be there for George if he was being picked on and George was always there to help Lennie study or something in that category. The only part that I liked about the decision was the time he did it and didn’t tell him he was doing it. If he told him he was doing it Lennie could’ve done something that could hurt George or get both of them emotional instead of just George getting emotional. Killing Lennie was the ultimate friendship just because Lennie couldn’t have survived much longer especially if he was alone most of the time. He wouldn’t know when to sleep or eat and he could suffer from depression.
